Demonstration of the Eurowaves Progressive Zooming Function

The first screen shows the entire Eurowaves area. There are six sub-regions which can be chosen.
For the purpose of this demo, only the Eastern Mediterranean region can be clicked on (outlined in red).

We now see a more detailed map of the Eastern Mediterranean.
The available offshore data points are indicated by the red
circles. The user will at this stage bea ble to select the
analysis area by using the mouse to draw a rectangle (or manually
enter the coordinates). Here, this is done for you. Click on the
red rectangle covering Crete to go to the next level.

This level shows the whole of Crete with somewhat enhanced
bathymetry and coastline and again with the local offshore data
points shown. Click again on the pre-selected rectangle to proceed.

We can now carry out the final zoom to the area of interest to be used in the shallow water wave modelling.

We are now at full zoom. The offshore data point is shown. The
red triangles indicate that there also exist buoy data in this
area. Proceed now to the shallow water wave modelling.
