The average wave heights along all the satellite tracks in this area have now been calculated. You can now easily choose any area to analyse by using the program's easy to use selection functions. An area such as the red rectangle is normally selected by clicking and dragging with the mouse. Click the Statistics button (outlined in red) at the top to calculate the statistics for the marked area. One can also look at some of the special options available for statistical analysis of buoy (or model) data by clicking on the highlighted buoy location. A special option is also available for analysing a certain track. Click on the red outlined track button on the left at the top. Once you have done this, you can normally select any track by clicking with the mouse somewhere near the track. One can make a sub-selection for any area or track using the Select Time Period button. Click on the button to see the options available.
