For the buoy data there are more wave and wind parameters available as follows: Hm0 (significant wave height),Tp (Peak wave period), Tm02 (mean wave period), ThTp (wave direction at the spectral peak - not all buoys), wind speed and direction. All the statistical presentations can be obtained in the same way as for the altimeter. For directional parameters (e.g., wind direction shown here) one can also produce a rose diagram. Click the red highlighted "Direction Rose" option under Distribution to see the direction rose for this buoy. The statistics are based on all measurements from 1978 to 1998. The actual measurements for a particular storm or day can be easily extracted to file by using the time period selection button and using the Max button to display the actual measurements.
